Resignation in Probation Period
24-Jan-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
In offer letter of my friend it is mentioned that he can resign by giving one month notice or one month salary. He give resignation due to health issues and is ready to serve 1 month notice period. Is it compulsory to show medical certificate if he is ready to serve 1 month notice period?
The Employer as well as the employee has to abide by the terms of the Offer letter, If there is no clause for any kind of explanation of one month Notice then it is not necessary for you to give any medical documents. If the Employer is still not paying you for that period or not relieving you, You can give a legal notice to the Employer for your relief.
