Resignation and Notice Period Issue

17-Jan-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
I am writing regarding my resignation during the probation period. I left the job without serving the notice period and informed the company via WhatsApp. Since I had not signed any appointment letter or agreement, no formal notice period terms were applicable. When I visited the office for handover after a few days, I was pressured and harassed to sign a compensation letter for three months' salary, which I refused. I have now received a letter demanding either a three-month notice period or compensation, which I believe is unjustified.

You can give Reply to the said notice if you have bot signed any documents yet. You can check your offer letter if compensation clause is written there. If it is jot there they cant charge you with the same.

Well, you can file a Counter Notice against the Demand Notice received by you to not pay compensation to your Ex-Employer. I will defend you duly in such counter notice, so that, you won't end paying compensation to your Ex-Employer.
