Threatening punitive action for claiming lawful dues is illegal. FNF must be settled within reasonable time after exit. You can send a legal notice and approach Labour Commissioner or file claim for recovery with interest.

Delaying Full and Final (FNF) settlement and threatening punitive action for raising legitimate claims is illegal under Indian Labour laws. You should issue a formal legal notice to the company immediately. If they fail to comply, you can approach the Labour Commissioner or file a recovery suit in the relevant Labour Court to claim your dues along with interest.
