Non payment of appraisal amount during notice period

04-Nov-2024 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have joined company in 2016 after 8 years and downsizing of project company kept us in redundancy and gave 3 month notice. But the appraisal amount in the form of one time I am getting from past 4 years they are not paying me in last 3 month notice period. I wanted to understand is it possible to deduct this way. This amount is mentioned in my salary slip from last 4 years except Maternity leave.

You can claim the appraisal amount. It's your right. The company can't refuse to pay it. If the amount is mentioned in your salary slip and in the notice period they are deducting the appraisal, you can certainly claim the difference amount.
