Non-Delivery of Promised Academic Services

14-May-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi- I engaged their services for a Full Publication Support Package, which they explicitly defined (in writing) as a comprehensive service including academic rewriting, editing, and end-to-end support for journal publication. The total fee charged was USD 1, 285, paid via my UAE ADCB credit card. Despite more than six months of continuous communication, the company failed to deliver the promised services, The manuscript produced repeatedly deviated from the academic scope agreed upon.

You can send a formal notice to the party stating about the same asking for a refund and compensation over your loss and/or file a complaint in the consumer forum for the same relief. If you still do want to avail their services you can file a Civil Suit with regards to specific performance and ask for the said relief.

Well, if you have evidence, that, you have been cheated and provided with low quality of services, then, you can file a case before the concerned Consumer Forum on the ground of either cheating or negligence to deliver services or on ground of Defeciency of Services.
