09-Jun-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
I joined one software company in August and left after 1.2 years with resignation due to health issues and never answered any calls from company. They have 5 year bond but bond starts after confirmation which they are not giving till 2 years so it becoming 7 year bond. I need now relieving letter. They gave to other employees who left after me but not giving to me. How can we take relieving letter from them.

Your bond has to be studied first , what are the clause and what are the limitation. And accordingly you can send a legal notice to get the reliving letter . That is the only option left with you to get the relieving letter .

Firstly, you must write an e-mail to the company requesting them to provide you the relieving letter. If the company still fails to provide with the same then you can initiate legal steps. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.

Well, in order to get the Relieving Letter, you need to serve a Legal Notice to your Ex Employer! If things work out from Legal Notice, then well and good, otherwise, Criminal and Civil Cases can be filed against your Ex Employer to recover your Relieving Letter!
