If you have completed the free lancing work and the agreed payment has not been received, first preserve all proof of your work like chats, emails, invoices, agreements, and delivery records. Send a formal payment demand notice mentioning the work completed, amount due, and reasonable time for payment. If the person still fails to pay, you may take appropriate legal action for recovery of dues depending upon the facts and terms of engagement.
