31-Jan-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
In the contractual appointment of four years it was stated that as per Gratuity Act 15 days salary for each completed year of service. But after completing the contract , owner is denying for gratuity because employee didn’t complete 5 years service. Then why it was mentioned in the contractual appointment? Can I get gratuity?

Yes, you can claim Gratuity if in your employment agreement it was stated that you'll be entitled for Gratuity of 15 days salary for each completed year of service. So for you this will be 2 months salary.
