Company charge huge rent for quarters during non service period

I was appointed as a consultant after a gap period of 25 days in the same company. I was provided a quarters with a standard rent of rupees 55./- pm. The company did not terminate / cancelled my services till now where as stopped to get my services after a period of 09 months. Since I didn't get any information about my services I had to reside in the quarters for a period of another 09 more months.On personal reasons I have vacated the quarters recently. The company has charged an exorbitant rent of 12,000/- rupees pm for a period of 09 months which is the non service period. Pl. help me to sort out this unfair practice of the company ithrough consumer court.
