What to do in case Insurance company denies to pay the claim

Hello I have insurance from bajaj for my car . I brought the car on 23rd nov and i met with an accident on 25th dec the car is still on the temporary number dur to my delay.now the car is on total loss and the insurance company is adking me for justification why they will pay the claim as the registration already expired.
You can claim against the Owner and Insurer of Vehicle in the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal. You need to file claim and Claim can be settled with Insurer afterward. if they still deny you can file a consumer case against them to get the insurance company
