The insurance agent wants to take photograph of me for car insurance

Following by a car accident that I was the driver, we claimed for insurance to cover the expenses of car damage. Now the insurance agent says he has to come to my place with a camera and take a photo mine with no explanation! That sounds odd to me! What is the reason? Is it lawful?
Surveyors duty is to know the truth of the facts mentioned in claim, so he will try his best to collect the evidence to establish his submission. Butthat does not mean he has acquired a right to infringe your privacy without your consent. If he is not providing you any satisfactory reason, then you are not bound to give your click, and explain him that it amounts to infringement of your privacy.
