If your Tata AIA Sampoorna Raksha Plus policy was surrendered or terminated without your knowledge or consent despite payment of all required premiums, you should immediately obtain the complete policy servicing and surrender records, including the surrender request, authorization, KYC documents and payment details. If the surrender was unauthorised, you can raise a written grievance with Tata AIA seeking restoration of the policy and appropriate compensation, depending on the facts. If the insurer does not resolve the grievance satisfactorily, you may escalate it through IRDAI’s Bima Bharosa grievance mechanism and, where maintainable, pursue remedies before the Insurance Ombudsman or Consumer Commission.
