Is Life (Existence) certificate mandatory for annuity payouts. What is the reference of the regulation from IRDAI
A Life Certificate or Life Existence Certificate is proof submitted to the Pension Distributing Authorities stating that the pensioner is alive to receive his/her pension. It has to be submitted on an annual basis.
