Insurance company not giving money after death of father. Advise.

Dear team. Mere father ne punjab state cooperative bank se loan leya tha .aur uske sath hi bank valo ne 5 lakh ki insurance ki thi under sahkari bank bima yojna to unko death ke bad insurance company claim nahi kar rahi hai
We would like to go through the term and conditions of the insurance policy taken. Generally in these scenarios a legal notice is issued to the insurance companies asking for the relief and if the same is not granted we file a consumer case against the same.
