Insurance claim rejected without any valid reason expected 30k

I hold a health insurance policy since 8 years and never claimed as i was never admitted in hospital during this time, but recently I had a severe vertigo attack and was admitted in ICU and then continued for 2 days but the company frm where I took policy is not giving me any reason for rejecting my claim.i have sent all original papers and all whatever they have been asking from.PLS help. I wana file a case in Consumer court.I want to know the charges. My amount expected from the Insurance company is 30,000 hence I dont wana spend large amount for filing and fighting in consumer court

You can file a complaint against the said insurance company in IRDA by following the said procedure:
• Approach the Grievance Redressal Officer of its branch or any other office that you deal with. Click here for mail ids of Grievance Redressal Officers, GRO, of all insurance companies.
• Give your complaint in writing along with the necessary support documents.
• Take a written acknowledgment of your complaint with the date.
• The insurance company should deal with your complaint within 15 days.
If that does not happen or if you are unhappy with their solution you can:
• Approach the Grievance Redressal Cell of the Consumer Affairs Department of IRDA:
• Call Toll Free Number 155255 (or) 1800 4254 732 or Send an e-mail to [email protected].
• Make use of the Integrated Grievance Management System:
• Register and monitor your complaint at igms.irda.gov.in.
