Insurance Claim not given as wife not added as dependent

I have an insurance with Vidal Health TPA. Working with HCL and saved my dependents details in HCL internal portal and due to technical reasons it was not submitted though saved in our portal. They forward details to India Insure to add them in their portal and through them Vidal Health TPA gets our details. My wife delivered a baby and I want to claim her maternity bills but they are saying she is not registered as my dependent. They are also not paying the claim for new born baby. They are wife is not added as dependent so I am not eligible to add my new born baby. Unable to claim bills.

Dear Concern, this is a matter of HR Department of your concern company, as in the beginning of every financial year employees are supposed to update their dependents on the HR portal ,on the basis of that data Hr department notify the details of the dependents to the insurance company and insurance company issue the medical card of the dependents, in case you have failed to do so you can contact to the HR department but before any medical issue. If medical card has not been issued of the dependents medical cost has to abide by the employee.
