About award certificate missing issue

18-Oct-2024 (In Insurance Law)
My father had an transport bus accident case in 1997. In 2018 we got a letter from our lawyer that we got a award certificate in court. But we don't know about that at that time. So how can take that award certificate from court. Is there any chance to get it.

To receive the awarded compensation, you need to file a petition before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) court. Since the award amount has already been granted, this step is crucial to initiate the formal disbursement process. The MACT is responsible for facilitating the payment of compensation in motor accident cases, and by submitting the petition, you can claim the amount you are entitled to. Ensure that you provide all necessary documentation, such as the court’s award order, identification proofs, and any other relevant paperwork that confirms your eligibility to claim the compensation. Filing the petition properly will expedite the release of the funds and avoid any delays in processing. If you have any questions about the procedure or need assistance with the legal aspects, feel free to contact me. I can help guide you through the requirements, ensuring that the petition is filed accurately and that you receive the awarded compensation without complications.
