Description of IPC Section 66

According to section 66 of Indian penal code, The imprisonment which the Court imposes in default of payment of a fine may be of any description to which the offender might have been sentenced for the offence.



IPC 66 in Simple Words

In simple words, the court can impose any type of imprisonment that the offender could have received for the offense, in case of default in paying the fine.
