As per new Indian Criminal law, IPC Section 32 has been replaced with BNS Section 3 with effect from July 1, 2024.
(Section is included as sub-section in BNS sans heading.)

Please refer to BNS 3 for updated procedures & punishments.

In every part of this Code, except where a contrary intention appears from the context, words which refer to acts done extend also to illegal omissions.
