IPC 224 in Simple Words
In simple words, Section 224 of the Indian Penal Code states that if someone intentionally resists their lawful arrest for an offense they are charged with or have been convicted of, or tries to escape from lawful custody, they can be punished with imprisonment up to two years, or fined, or both.
