Whoever corruptly uses or attempts to use any such certificate as a true certificate, knowing the same to be false in any material point, shall be punished in the same manner as if he gave false evidence.



IPC 198 in Simple Words

In simple words, Section 198 of the Indian Penal Code states that if someone corruptly uses a false certificate, knowing it to be false, they will be punished as if they had given false evidence.
