IPC 171D in Simple Words
Section 171D of the Indian Penal Code states that anyone who applies for a voting paper in someone else's name or uses a fictitious name to vote, or tries to vote more than once in the same election, and anyone who helps or encourages such actions, commits the offence of personation at an election.
