Will i get SC certificate if i wish to change my religion to hindu

I'm born Christian dalit . My father converted from Hindu to Christian .. I need to convert to Hinduism on my own will . Will I able to get SC status and community certificate and caste reservation quota

Yes you can SC certificate but you must be practicing Hinduism and accepted by your community as one of them. In a judgement( Manu case) the SC held that a person shall not be deprived of reservation benefits if he decides to “reconvert” to Hinduism and adopts the caste that his forefathers originally belonged to just because he was born to Christian parents or has a Christian spouse.
