Wife not staying with me since 3 months. What steps can I take

30-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
I was married in May 2017, this year itself. It was an arranged marriage. We both work in Mumbai & have a decent salary. I have around 6 years of experience & a package of around 8 lacs & she also has a package of around 7 lacs with 4-5 years of experience. We married in my home town which is around 3-4 hours away from Mumbai. After our honeymoon (for which I paid), she started fighting on trivial things. She is a control freak & wants me to do each & everything her way. She wanted me to not talk to my parents. She threatened me 2 times to hit me physically. When I complained about all of this to her parents, she went away from home without even informing me & this was in August. I called & even went and met her begging her to come back. It is around 2.5 months now that she is gone. Knowing her I can anticipate that she will want to get seperated but in return will ask for a huge sum of money as an alimony & fake cases. What exactly should my legal steps be to safeguard me & my parents

Sir,
You can immediately file an NC or a complaint with the nearest police station stating that she left on X date on her own accord( carrying her belongings and jewellery) if she did and thereafter has refused to return inspite of all your attempts. This precaution can be a safeguard in case you anticipate any fake case.

As per your information the marriage was performed against your wife. In such circumstances you can issue legal notice calling her to join the matrimonial company with you within 15 days and in failure of compliance of the same file case of reunion . Before lapse of one year case of divorce can't be filled. For further details you can contact me personally.
