Domestic Violence has to be filed in at Magistrate Court of your city in which the courts will be called MMTC courts there you have to file the case by engaging an advocate. Consult advocate who will help you out.

In domestic violence cases the complaint has to be filed not in mahila police station it has to be filed before the jurisdiction police where the cause of action has taken place and where both parties are living at the time of incident, the mahila police has no role in this - only mahila police will try to compromise where complaint is filed by the wife. The protection officer help can also be taken. she will issue domestic incident report.
