What legal steps to safeguard my sisters marriage
16-Jun-2023 (In Family Law)
Actually since one year and 6 month my sister is staying with us who is married, she came to our house at the time she was pregnant, after a month we filed complaint in mahila ayog then after 5 to 6 month they patch up,but he not taken her to his house, every sunday he comes and meet my sister and his daughter, but now since one month he is not coming no phone,we don't want divorce but he is not listening anything of my sister nor concern about his child what to do
Hi sir, have gone through your query, you have mentioned that you had filed complaint in mahila ayog what was the complain all about ??? as you do not want to take divorce you along with elders of your house can go at your sisters place and try to speak with the head of the family from the boys side and try to resolve the disputes and also ask reason as to why he is not listening to your sister and try to understand his point of view
Your sister can go and stay with him if he is not coming. If in case he does not allow your sister to enter the house or harasses her then she can file a complaint of domestic violence and claim for shelter, protection and maintenance. For any further clarification and detailed line of action kindly book a consultancy call.
