What is the status of case after it is settled in the court

My wife did 498a against me in 2016 and after that is settled but fir status shows fr put up in court what does that mean is case still opened or closed?

It is clear that you settled it after court
You both should go before court and should present compromise documents to the court
Then after permission of court the case will be terminated
Without permission and without your wife's withdraw case can't be settled in court

Dear Sir,
In the Cases of 498A when the cases are resolved/ settled in the Court with the Compromise, all the cases pending for the parties are Disposed off, and the FIR’s which are there are quashed.
But that depends upon the Terms of the Settlement and Court has to put all the details in the Order.
In my opinion you should file a 482 Petition for Quashing of the FIR on the basis of the Settlement.
