What is the procedure to file case of maintenance against NRI husband

07-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
I got married in india and under HINDU marriage act. After 3 months of marriage my uk based husband tells me he wants divorce based on irretrievable breakdown of marriage. I have filed criminal & DV case in thane court. I also want maintenance & compensation from him as I am jobless right now. I am a graduate only. Do I need to file a separate maintenance case ? And if I file in india only will it help me to get maintenance or I need to file it in UK, london where he stays. What will be best to speed up process of getting maintenance. He is a uk citizen. Please help.

Best but expensive is the U.K court where the damage is assessed as per age of petitioner then duration of marriage then issues if anything prospect of getting new groom .
Here in India law is hopeless u have to first get summons served upon him and only if he has properties which can be attached it will work out otherwise the foreign court do not have any respect for Indian court orders. So the choice is yours .Advocte at UK are accountable but Indians they are thugs they give assurances till you pay them and finally they say that court is idiot does not understand law. This thugs are unaccountable most of the advocate gets degree even without having basic knowledge of law ,redt are all Baristar Baba Saheb Ambdkar.

You have to send court summons to your husband ( UK based ) through Indian Ambassy and get knowledge about service of said summons to him through said Ambassy and then also if he remain absent then do issue warrant against him through said Ambassy . They will give you good responce on speedy basis
