What is the nature of a inter caste child certificate

26-May-2023 (In Family Law)
We are Munnurukapu (SL.No.20, BC-D) in B.C. in Telangana. But due to poverty and illeteracy of our ancients, caste certificate was issued as Balija (SL.No.15, BC-D) in B.C. In my caste certificate also it was as Balija. No proof of Munnurukapu. Now I married a girl of Munnurukapu, can caste certificate of our child be taken as Munnurukapu?(As both caste are in same subgroup) Plz explain the procedure

Dear Client, You give declaration in the Hospital and other Birth Registration Authorities like Municipal Corporation or Local Authorities as Munnurukapu for your child. If they failed to take the same you file a civil suit for declaring your caste as Mannurukapu by engaging an expert advocate who has been practicing cases of like nature.

Hi The child will be issued caste certificate of the father only and not the mother. Though both Munnurukapu and balija belong to BC-D, the Revenue authorities are empowered to issue the Balija caste certificate only (caste of father). Change of caste is a different and long drawn procedure and in 99.5% cases, it has always resulted in negative.
