What is enquiry status in 125 crpc

Currently my case status for 125 crpc maintenance is enquiry. What does this mean. Please tell me
What stage is your case at? After filing the case, notice is issued to the Respondent/ opposite party. The trial commences thereafter i.e. evidence, cross-examination, arguments etc. Let me know if you have a specific query.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Enquiry means the petitioner has to lead evidence on her behalf. You have not disclose whether you are petitioner or respondent. If you are a petitioner then get file an interim application seeking interim maintenance till the disposal of main petition otherwise it may take longer time to dispose the case for various reasons.
