Viral posts of child without consent

An unknownperson posted my child's photo on social media without my consent with objectionable message written in it. What action should I take.

Yes, you can complain about the same with the Police. However, it is always advisable to first ask the concerned person to take down the picture. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.

Well, you immediately file a Police Complaint and get that Complaint converted into a FIR under the concerned provisions of law like Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 & IT Act, 2020 and its concerned rules.

You can execute the legal Notice to the person who did this, its a kind of Defamation and also not acceptable in the society and neither legal by law, you can initiate by sending the legal notice and accordingly further actions can be taken, and also a complaint letter in cyber cell
