Understanding Proof of Relationship

My wife is a single child of her parents. Her only surviving parent i.e. father is 80 years old and was living in a small town. He has two different names. In his Aadhar, his banks accounts and PAN he has one common name. But all my wife's documents has his other name, so she doesn't have any document where her father's name matches with her father's name used in accounts / PAN etc. So how she can prove her relation as daughter ?
Well, She can prove her Relationship by getting name of his father changed on all Documents, which she is having. She can prove her relationship with the father via DNA Certificate from Reputed Hospital
