Transfer of flat on the basis of release deed

Can society transfer flat on the basis of release deed executed by deceased member

Yes. Society can do so but the transferee must have been named in the release / relinquishment deed as a beneficiary. So also, other facts need ti be ascertained to understand the exact circumstances under which the said deed was made. If the society refuses to do so, one can move an application to court for appropriate directions.
