Sister withholding property papers

Hi,
My sister is withholding our house and property papers. Originally the house and property was bought by my father, after which I invested all my money to building it further. My father passed away years ago and since then it has not been transferred in my mother's and two sisters and my name. But now my sister is not willing to give the documents. What can I do?
Hello, I have perused your query. In such circumstances you have an option of launching inventory proceedings. The inventory proceedings will result in crystallization of shares of all the surviving legal heirs. Any right over any share of the concerned property will be put forth before the court. Thereafter division of inheritance will take place as per the prevailing law which will be Goa Sucession Act in your case.
