अगर कोई लड़का शादी के लिए मना कर रहा है, तो यह जरूरी है पहले ये समझना कि उसने कोई झूठा वादा किया था या नहीं। यदि लड़के ने शादी का झूठा वादा करके शारीरिक संबंध बनाए हैं या भावनात्मक, सामाजिक नुकसान पहुंचाया है, तो आप निम्न कानूनी विकल्प अपना सकती हैं:
धारा 417 IPC – धोखाधड़ी के लिए, यदि उसने शादी का झूठा वादा कर विश्वास में लेकर शोषण किया हो।
धारा 376 IPC – यदि उसने सहमति केवल शादी के झूठे वादे पर ली हो और यौन संबंध बनाए हों, तो यह बलात्कार की श्रेणी में आ सकता है।
महिला आयोग या पुलिस में शिकायत – मानसिक उत्पीड़न, धोखा या विश्वासघात के आधार पर शिकायत दर्ज कर सकती हैं।
शादी के लिए मजबूर नहीं किया जा सकता – लेकिन अगर धोखा दिया गया हो, तो कानून उसका संज्ञान लेता है।
काउंसलिंग का विकल्प – परिवार या सामाजिक मध्यस्थता से समाधान भी एक बेहतर रास्ता हो सकता है
