Separation in case of live in relationship

13-Sep-2024 (In Family Law)
Hello, I was in a live in relationship for about 14-15 years. In June 2023 we decided to part ways mutually. Her aadhar card had c/o my name and many people knew us as husband wife even though we were never married legally. At that time, we just signed a document on plain paper in good faith and moved on. After that I got married. Now she is wanting to file a case on me. What can I do?

Dear Sir, You have to file suit for declaration claiming that she is not your wife. She is falsely claiming your legally wedded wife as you are legally married to somebody else. You have to fight for your rights. Before she files any case against you you just file above suit and also get issue a strong legal notice. If employed, also write to them.
