Right of wife to claim share in PF and gratuity fund of husband

My husband recently retired from services and he received sum of Rs 70 lakhs as provident fund and Gratuity fund. I am a housewife and dependent on my husband financially. I asked him to give some amount for my financial security but he won’t give single penny. My query is being that can I claim partial amount legally from my husband provident fund and Gratuity fund. Please provide solution to this problem. Regards.
My Response to your query:
1) you can ask money for mentaince not specifically in above stated terms.
2) you can claim amount for your daily needs if your husband not providing you.

As per your query,
It appears that you are residing with your husband in the same house. As long as your husband is maintaining the house and providing house hold expenses, you cannot ask any kind of share in his self owned money as the matter of right. However if you can convince your husband to invest the same in your joint name the same will suffice the need. Note that as matter of right you cannot claim the share in his self earned money in his life time.
