Responsibility of a daughter and son towards their respective parents

Can daughter in law ever be blamed for not taking the responsibility of inlaws?Their sons say they are too immature to look afte r their own parents so the responsibility lies on the wife no matter how they behave. You need to obey them even if you are financially independent and doesn't reply on them for anything.

Daughter in law can not be blamed for not taking responsibility of in laws. The primary responsibility is of your husband since he is the son who obviously has to lead the family. If the son is still immature, his parents should not have got him married, rather taken care of him like a child.

No the daughter in law can never be blamed for not taking the responsibility of her in-laws as it being the duty of the person's son and daughter only. Even according to law it is the duty of one's children to take the responsibility of their parents.
