Yeah there is no such bar on an advocate regarding pleading or representing his blood relatives before the court of law. but an advocate cannot plead before the judge who is his blood relative as there is bar from kith and kin practice

yes a blood relative can represent another family member as an advocate in court . there is no bar on the same . so feel free engage a lawyer who is a family member and don't worry. it is legal. however many times advocate family members become very emotional about the case and therefore fail to represent the client successfully .
