Query pertaining to the Status of HUF bank account

Hindu HUF bank account from receipt of cash by will after death of father. Karta was married but just now divorced having no children. What is the status of the HUF bank account as on date ?? can this account remain HUF or will be treated as individual now ?? please advise. thanks

Good evening.. IN HUF, one becomes a member of the HUF only at birth in the family. Since there are no other legal heirs, the HUF bank account will become ineffective. It won’t be treated as an individual bank account either.

Hindu undivided Family's bank account will be always treated as asset and ful fledged right of the family tree Legal heirs as the karta of the family is divorced and also has no children either legitimate/ biological progeny to claim his or her right over the HUG account
