Punishment for committing bigamy and rights of wife

A govt servant living with a woman for last 7 years ,having a married wife already. What are the maintenances to such lady who is simply a house wife and legal punishment for that man.

Hi, As per the fact mentioned by you, the husband is liable for bigamy. He can be prosecuted as per the provisions of the IPC & Hindu Law. The wife can claim for maintenance from his husband.
