Hi There,

Legally as well as socially it is not permissible.

For example: Section 5 of the Hindu Marriage Act bans, among other things, marriage between a brother and sister, uncle and niece, aunt and nephew, or children of brother and sister or of two brothers or of two sisters. The marriage is void, unless the custom of the community permits it.

So my personal advice would be to stay away from it. Rest it is your life ...so do what you want...simple :-(

Dear Sir,

You can get marry with the girl as the provisions of Hindu Law prevents you.
That girl is your sister and in Hindu Law no body can marry with his sister and in case will get marriage with your sister then the said marriage will come under the prohibited degree of relation.

If there is a family custom for marrying your cousin, you can go ahead. Else it would be difficult.
In many Indian families, this is permissible. I do not know about your family.
Please seek consultation.
