Procedure for correction of caste in school certificates.

Sir, in my school certificate, my caste is noted as Hindu-Parayan (SC). In my father's school certificate, noted as Hindu-Sambavar (sc). We (my brother, sister, and me) would like to correct my caste as Hindu-Sambavar in all records related to us. Please suggest the procedure to make correction in our caste. Thanking you,

On the basis of your father's certificate you should apply for caste certificate from the Thahasildar through your village office.After enquiry they will give you the certificate.After that you should approach your school last studied. Through them you will have to send it to the Board of exam at Trivandrum with chellan required.School authorities will guide you.After getting the order they will correct in the school records

For carrying out correction in school certificate, you have to make an application for the same through your school principal/headmaster with sufficient documents documents stating your correct cast. The school authorities will forward the same to the authorities concerned with their remarks.
