Procedure and requirements to register a marriage in Kolhapur

Sir.. both me and my wife are Christians. We got married two years ago in Kolhapur city. She is from another city in karnataka and I am from a village which comes under Kolhapur district. We are living in Kolhapur since our marriage in a rented accommodation. I stay at this rented place with my family since before marriage. But we don't have the rent agreement. Is it possible to register the marriage in Kolhapur or do I have to do it at my village. All my documents including passport have my village address
You need to have a residential proof to establish the jurisdiction. Therefore if you have any certificate given to you by the priest at the time of your marriage, you can show that as a proof of residence in Kolhapur at the time of your marriage, you can also show your or your wife's office appointment letter as a residential proof of Kolhapur.
