Parents settlement with Daughter-in-Law

Hi Team, My brother had is last breath in 2020, from there on my parents(senior citizens) didnt able to settle anything with Daughter-in-law and they are not in talking terms, the grandchild is also not in touch with grandparents. My parents dont want any relationship with daughter in law anymore, but formally want to close this matter formally. what should my parents should do legally to settle it ? we dont know where they live. I am the second son, parents fully dependant on me.
