Need advise to obtain legal protection

I need an advise to get legal protection for myself. I received a marriage proposal from my uncle son (not a blood reIation) who was married and having 2 kids. Initially i had denied considering his wife and kids. Then he convinced and promised me that he will take formal divorce and marry me very soon legally.. Its been a year he didnt even apply for divorce bcos of the fear of consequences. First of all, his wife is not ready to give divorce. He s trying to blame his wife for the reason to apply divorce. He always trying to hold me by influencing me emotionally... I am tired of seeing all his dramas and everything. He just wanted me to marry without getting the divorce legally. I told my family members about his proposal and they r not at all fine with him. Not only because of his family and also his personality... Since all this happened and action from him towards divorce i decided to break up this relation.
