Need advice on how to take the FIR back

29-Sep-2023 (In Family Law)
I filed a complaint against a guy who I was with for 2 years and when he left me threatened and mentally harassed me and my mother. He is currently charged under section 154 crpc and 506,509. The case is under investigation and chargesheet is yet to be filed but my mother is a severe depression patient since 20 years and this thing is causing her another of pain mentally. Please advise if we can take the FIR back

There is no provision of taking the FIR back. Yes you can settle the case with him and file a joint quashing petition before the High Court, they will quash the FIR against him. Only thing i want to inform you is that you have no role to play in the FIR and can move on with you life. You only have to go to court once for statement. For help contact at 98-188-23-868

You can settle it with the boy and then with that settlement agreement that accused/boy can file quashing of FIR in the concerned High Court. High Court after examining you both have the power to quash it.
