my son took my only house forcefully through gift.

my son took my only house forcefully through gift, now he is torturing me, not giving me food, trying to do out from my home, his wife and child beat me and say go to vridhaashram. i am 80 years old i have to take back my home. can i take it back from my son leagally? if yes then how?

Dear Client, You have various legal remedies available at your hand which you may avail against your son. Elder Helpline No. is 14567 You may file an application under the Domestic Violence Act for domestic violence and abuse that you are facing from your son. Secondly, you may file an application under Maintenance & Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act before SDM/DM. The Tribunal has been empowered to cancel the gift deed as well in case the parents have been left/abandoned or uncared by their children.
