my mother criticized by her younger son and she helpless please advice

Dear Sir/Madam,
my younger brother was addicted to bad habits such as chain drinking and with this he loss family ethics and using abusing words on my mother face and some times he beats her up to bleeds, so many times local police were came and released him in few days and he repeats the same, i am elder brother leaves far way from house staying on rent in another place since 6 years, due to lack of quarrels between me and him so far there is no change with him , some times my head says to murder him if i do so what are the imprisonment for me and how many years.

You don't need to murder him you can take legal action. Next time he does something like this kindly lodge an FIR against him and send him behind bars. As u have already filed a complaint against him the court will take strict action against him. If the house where he is living is in the name of your mother she can disown him from there and he cannot come there and live. You can also take your mother along with you and keep her with you.

First you should join your brother in some drug/ alcohol rehabilitation program.
Alternatively your mother can file a case against your brother under nuisance and send him to jail .
in my view, alcohol rehabilitation program should help your brother and probably he will reform.
