My husband has filed an FIR. I don't know if it is against me or my family. Neither has the police contacted me. How do I get to know the content of the FIR? Also what happens when FIR is filed against me?

If the FIR has been registered against you then the police officials will definitely contact you to ask your involvement in the offence that is levied by your husband against you and your family. You will be provided with a notice u/s 41A CrPC to appear before the police station. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

if you know that an FIR has been filed then wait for the court summon. Under the process the police will file a case in the court and the court will issue the summon. however it is advisable if you can let me know under what section the fir has been filed and under which police station? we will be able to help you
